Cyprian Lim, Honorary English Secretary. Cyprian Lim is a former teacher with the Ministry of Education and served as coordinator of Religious and Character Education in a Mission School. He is currently an independent researcher and a freelance English educator. Mr Lim is the author of “My Maternal Roots: A Story of Family, Faith and Freedom” – where he pieces together fragments of family history and the endeavours of his ancestors. His wish is for many others to discover the joys he has experienced in getting to know and preserve his roots.

Sharing his personal journey of tracing his family roots – why and how he got started, how he did it, challenges faced, and how he got it published – sharing & tips on tracing family roots / starting one’s family tree – things to avoid or be aware of beforehand/ benefits of publishing his story.
