GSS Signing MOU with NLB, AGM 2024 and Genealogy Talk 101 2024<\/b><\/p>

Genealogy Society Singapore held three programs on Saturday, 21 September. These include signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Library Board, the GSS 2024 AGM, and a talk by Raymond Goh on genealogy search and software.<\/span><\/p>

The strategic partnership’s objective is to establish a Singapore Genealogy Collection at the National Library, which will help preserve Singapore family history and promote interest in genealogy among Singaporeans.<\/span><\/p>

After signing the MOU, the Society held its Annual General Meeting (AGM).<\/span><\/p>

It was followed by a talk by Raymond Goh, the VP of GSS. Goh focused on research methods tailored to Singapore\u2019s diverse ethnic groups and shared insights on genealogy software supporting various family structures and languages.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
