MY CHINA ROOTS
A Zoom Event featuring a legacy research website and its founder, Huihan Lie.
With the help of an expert team, scores of families with Chinese ancestries have been enriched in the knowledge of their roots, locating of their Zupu or meeting up with relatives in their ancestral lands.
In the provinces of Guangdong and Fujian, My China Roots has amassed a wealth of experience and resources in interviews, pictures, clan books, tombstones, altar tablets and the geography of the villages.
Learn to make use of the online platform to trace your roots and uncover your lineage over a thousand or more years.
The speaker, Huihan, is based in Beijing, China, with his wife and two children. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he has family in Indonesia and ancestors from China. His authority in Chinese genealogy is well documented in an array of media publications and appearances, such as in “South of the Ocean/下南洋” (TV),“The Six/六人”(documentary), “Who Do You Think You Are?” (TV), New York Times, BBC, Silverkris, Financial Times, The Economist, SCMP, the Sinica Podcast and BFM Radio.
